The Next Emeritus Event

Speaker:  Dr. Reed Ferber, Associate Professor, Faculty of Kinesiology, and

Director, Running Injury Clinic, University of Calgary

Topic:  "Staying active and healthythrough clinical biomeachanics research"

Brief Synopsis:  Healthy aging and active living are paramount issues for Canadians.  Through research conducted at the Running Injury Clinic in the Faculty of Kinesioiogy, Dr. Reed Ferber will doscuss how biomechanical gait patterns can be improved through simple hip muscle strengthening exercises.  He will  will also discuss his future research endeavours and how a unique research paradigm is already having world-wide implications.
